Do I need anything special?
No! The therapist brings everything needed to transform any room into a relaxing spa experience. We supply the massage table, sheets, lotion, music, and lighting.
How long does an average party last?
Since appointments are scheduled back to back, you can add up the total minutes from massages and then add about 45 minutes to account to set up and break down time. If you have a party with 8 half hours your party should be about 4 ½ to 5 hours.
Who should I invite?
It is always best to start with friends and family members that share the love of a good massage. But then move on to those other people you know from work, the neighborhood, PTA, or other organizations who you think might enjoy some relaxation time. You never know who would like to have a massage.
What room or area should I use for massages?
The room does not have to be huge. We have set up in all types of areas. It can be a spare bedroom, office area, or basement. The key is that we can turn off the lights, have access to electrical outlets, and that we can have privacy. We don’t want other people walking through the area. They are more than willing to help and let you know what they may need.
Do I have to spend a lot of money on food and drinks?
We have seen hostesses who have had a full dinner party and those who laid out a few snacks to enjoy. The options are limitless and completely up to you. Some hostesses have done pot lucks, simple pizza or a full array of foods for a fee that also helps their charity.
What if I don’t have a charity to give to?
Click here for a list of charities we have helped in the past. These are just suggestions. If you really want to get your circle of friends and family interested you may want to choose one that is meaningful to them.
Are there a minimum or maximum number of guests?
We ask that you guarantee a minimum of 8 half hours. You will need to ask your particular therapist how many hours they are able to do.
