Believe me, when a real estate marketing expert suggested that to me last year, I thought he was crazy. I had thought that the discount price of a massage with no added house call fee was a benefit in and of itself. Besides I was taking some of the fundraising pressure off of the host. Then I sat with it awhile and realized he was right. The host of the party was really doing the more time consuming work: making the phone calls , fielding return calls, scheduling the appointments, having refreshments available, cleaning their house for company, and then cleaning up afterwards as well as keeping the participants and the party running on time. They deserve a massage!!
Just think about how much it would cost to have your own personal secretary making your cold calls to get people to make a massage appointment, getting a minimum of 8 clients scheduled for the day, and making sure each client was comfortable before and after their massage. Once the 2 of you agree on a mutual date and time for the party, she goes to work. In fact, most of them already start talking about having a party before they even call you!
Another way to look at it is that it gives us another opportunity to BE A BLESSING to someone!
